• Fees and Services

As your therapist, I am not selling myself to you. I want to make sure we are a good match, since strong rapport predicts higher rates of success in therapy. If after your consult, you feel it’s not me, I will happily help you find someone else!

Mind and Body Counseling does not take insurance. While I do offer a couple of sliding scale options, I choose not to work with insurance in order to protect your privacy and our ability to work together for as long as needed, without the determination of insurance.

  • 1. 50 minute Session - $175

This is the typical length of a therapy session. We will collaborate on setting goals and how to achieve them. I will offer unconditional support, as well as honest, nonjudgemental, feedback. We will develop a rapport where humor, authenticity, and gentle challenges can be tools for healing.

  • 2. Intuitive Eating and Body Image Support Group - $40

This is an 8-week group that meets weekly to learn about the principles of Intuitive Eating, while processing and implementing the practices into your own life. Each group will have a short lesson on Intuitive Eating followed by group discussion and support from Martha. This group is meant to be low fee and while the cost is listed, no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please learn more here.

  • 3. 75 Minute Extended Session - $263

This is an extended session. Perfect for couples or individuals who are in the depths of processing big life events. If you are someone who feels like therapy ends just moments after you sat down, this might be the service for you! Lots of clients will use this option “as needed” when things come up that require more detail and attention.

  • Advocacy and Consultation - $175

Martha Greenburg, LMFT offers consulting and advocacy services for schools, businesses, and organizations who want help with employee support, mental health education and prevention, and events. Please book a call to discuss if I could be helpful with your needs!

To those who are concerned about affording therapy without insurance:

I get it. I’ve been there myself. I want to share some options for folks who don’t have insurance, but first acknowledge that it is not accessible for all and I am happy to help find you an affordable low fee clinic if you reach out.

Out of Network Options:

Super bill: Depending on your type of insurance, I can provide a “receipt” for our therapy sessions that you can give to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Health Savings Account: HSA’s can be used for mental health services.

Frequency of Therapy: We can do sessions less frequency (when appropriate) to meet your financial needs. Shorter sessions are also available.

Group Therapy: Please inquire if you are interested in group therapy focused on eating disorders/body image. I offer low fee groups and no one will be refused due to lack of funds.
