What is Sex Therapy?

Sex Therapy is therapy focused on enhancing, expanding, and exploring your sex life. Sex and intimacy are one of the many ways we experience love. Love is one of the most sought after and necessary feelings for overall health and happiness, yet we have very little information or guidance on how to achieve it. Our mental health correlates directly with our sexual health.

Issues we can work on together include: erectile dysfunction, premature or delayed ejaculation, sexual health issues, building intimacy, anxiety around intimacy and sex, performance anxiety, lack of sexual desire or interest in sex, arousal disorders, orgasm disorders, difference in libido or sexual play preferences, and much more.

What to Expect

As your therapist, I will make sure you feel comfortable and safe before we dive in to the particulars. I know it takes a lot of bravery to reach out to a therapist about these issues in the first place, so you can take comfort in knowing I will get to know you and/or your partner(s) and create strong rapport before asking you to share.

Together, we will identify your goals and hopes for therapy and explore the ways your past and current relationship dynamics, romantic relationships, communication patterns, conflict resolution styles, and perspectives towards sex and intimacy may be effecting your current situation.
