✺ Frequently asked questions ✺

  • Intuitive eating is a sustainable, non-diet approach that focuses on listening to your body’s natural hunger and fullness cues instead of following restrictive food rules or using weight loss drugs like Ozempic. This course empowers you to ditch dieting once and for all and learn how to eat in a way that feels peaceful, balanced, and nourishing and unlike dieting, it lasts for a lifetime. With the guidance of a therapist specializing in eating disorders, you’ll embrace food freedom and develop a healthy relationship with food without relying on external or temporary weight loss methods.

  • This course is specifically designed for those who are exhausted from dieting, calorie counting, and obsessing over food. If you’re looking to find a peaceful, guilt-free relationship with food without turning to weight loss drugs, procedures, or another diet, this course will help you heal your mindset around eating. I work with women, men, non-binary and trans folks. Eating disorders affect our trans community at higher rates and therefore I prioritize making my groups a safe space for all bodies and genders to find body acceptance. You’ll learn how to embrace intuitive eating, practice body acceptance, and break free from the cycle of dieting and restriction that leaves you feeling trapped.

  • This course will teach you to trust your body and reconnect with your natural hunger and fullness cues, making it possible to enjoy food without obsession or guilt. By rejecting diet culture, you’ll learn how to eat in a way that feels nourishing and satisfying, free from the stress of dieting or relying on weight loss drugs. As you implement all 10 principles of intuitive eating, you’ll experience a shift toward a more balanced, peaceful approach to food that supports both your mental and physical health.

  • There is no one answer to this question. Everyone picks the lifestyle and principles up at different paces, and some of them are a lifelong practice. The harder you work at deconstructing the ideas that diet culture has taught you about food rules and your body, the sooner you’ll be able to eat with full permission - which is the biggest barrier to ending binge eating. My course is just the beginning, I highly recommend therapy, journaling, and self-exploration on these principles as you move through them!

  • You might! You might not! Intuitive Eating is not a new diet and it’s functionality rests on letting go of intentional weight loss goals. That doesn’t mean you have to stop wanting to lose weight. It’s only natural to desire weight loss in our society, but Intuitive Eating can’t promise any change in weight in your body. It will most likely lead to more balance, variety, and calmness in your day to day diet. Weight gain or loss is dependent on so many external factors, it’s impossible for anyone or anything to promise weight loss, including intuitive eating.

  • Yes! This course is designed to help you improve your body image and boost self-esteem by fostering body acceptance and shifting away from the harmful effects of dieting. With the principles of intuitive eating, you’ll learn to appreciate and trust your body, instead of focusing on weight loss or size. The expert guidance from a therapist specializing in eating disorders will help you develop a healthy, compassionate relationship with yourself, empowering you to feel confident and at peace in your own skin.
